Spacecode’s proprietary RFID LED tags revolutionize inventory management through their unique ‘Pick to Light’ technology. Crucially, these tags utilize Low Frequency (LF) RFID, which provides a distinct technical advantage over UHF in the diamond industry. LF technology ensures 100% reading accuracy even when diamond parcels are tightly stacked or bundled together, a common practice that causes misreads with less controllable UHF signals.
This controlled LF field captures only the items placed on the reader, eliminating the risk of accidentally reading tags outside the defined area. When selected by the software, the tag’s powerful integrated LED flashes instantly, enabling users to quickly locate single or multiple items without any manual searching or pre-sorting. As passive, long-life devices, these tags dramatically accelerate search and retrieval, making them an essential tool for accurate and efficient diamond asset management.

The DiamondTracker™ Software is the centralized platform for managing and monitoring the Spacecode Board. Using advanced RFID technology, the software ensures that every reading is accurate and quickly adds the Board’s fast counts to the system’s database.
It eliminates the need for manual pre-sorting. By tagging each box and applying a criteria check during scanning, the system can also prevent diamonds from accidentally falling into the wrong box.
Once a user selects an item, the system uses the “pick to light” capability to immediately illuminate the RFID LED tag on the required diamond parcel, ensuring quick, easy, and accurate retrieval.
